2018 Carneros ‘Estate Grown’ Pinot Noir
We have a wonderful recipe to share with you all for enjoying with our newly released Estate Grown Pinot Noir. It’s called: “Lamb Meatballs with an Indian-Spiced Tomato Sauce”. This recipe is so good! The lamb is tender and flavorful with the addition of roasted garlic and yet it’s not too gamey. Just the perfect thing for partnering up with the fruitiness and earth of the Pinot. And the tomato sauce that the lamb simmers in just bursts with a ripeness and toasty Indian spices that is so satisfying alongside the spicy cherry qualities of the Pinot. You can even make a double recipe of the tomato sauce and freeze it- a little luxury next time you are craving this dish. The creamy yogurt topping smooths out every mouthful of your meal, allowing the wine to really offer its depth across the palate.
