2021 River Cruise
You’re Invited (AGAIN)!
The Romantic Danube
Axel & Kristine Schug
Prague + Vilshofen/Passau/Linz/Weissenkirchen/Vienna/Budapest
Cruise Only: August 18-25, 2021
Pre-Cruise 3-nights in Prague: August 15-18, 2021
As you may know, we were 50 strong in our Schug Danube Group, booked to sail down the Blue Danube this past April, before COVID-19 stopped the world. With vaccines now in mass production, we anticipate being able to travel internationally by July. The intimate and sparkling Danube passenger ships will be operating as normal, but with more rigorous cleaning procedures and more personalized meal service.
Kristine and I have rescheduled our 7-night Danube cruise to August 18th of next year, sailing aboard the M/S AmaMagna, the latest and greatest new river ship in Europe. We sail on the Danube from Vilshofen in Bavaria to Budapest. While on board, we will hold three tastings and a paired dinner, pouring our Schug Carneros Estate wines alongside those of Germany and Austria.
Start with a 3-night stay in beautiful Prague, then board AmaMagna for a luxurious voyage down the Danube. This is the stunning backdrop glorified in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music. Conclude in Budapest, the Hungarian capital that will surprise you with its history, scale, architecture, and substance.
See complete information and register online at www.toursandwine.com/schug. Our cruise website shows cabins and the ship’s features with expandable pictures, details, prices, and dates.
A $1,500 cabin ($750 per person) is available to Schug Danube Group members. You must book by January 15th, 2021. Book as soon as possible to lock in your cabin. This is the most popular river cruise itinerary in Europe, and the AmaMagna ship is a hot ticket and will sell out. NOTE: A $500 per person deposit will hold your cabin.
Feel free to recommend this special holiday to any friends or relations who would enjoy this kind of elegant vacation dedicated to culture, fine food and wine.
